Elizabeth B. Rung

Elizabeth B. Rung, 78, of Meadville, died Friday, October 13, 1995 at Crawford County Care Center following a two week illness.

She was born in Ashtabula, OH, October 30, 1916 a daughter of Charles and Pearl Waid Barnhart.  She married Philip J. Rung, July 3, 1944.  He preceded her in death March 27, 1979.

She worked at Talon for forty years, retiring in 1979 as a final inspector.  She was a member of First Christian Church and had been the pianist at Sandy Lake Church of God for many years.  She also attended Thiel College for two years.

Survivors include a daughter, Dr. Nancy Rung of Ashtabula, OH.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Susannah McConnell Evan and an infant brother, Elmer Barnhart.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Oak Hill Cemetery.
