A. Virginia Tanner

A. Virginia Tanner, 96, formerly of North East and a resident of Wesbury United Methodist Community, Meadville, died there Sunday, June 19, 2011.

She was born in Wattsburg December 13, 1914, a daughter of Frederic and Amy Ottaway Tanner.

She was a graduate of North East Public Schools and was a member of Park United Methodist Church, North East where she worked as a secretary and was a member its United Methodist Women.

She was a former member of the North East Women's Club and enjoyed working on crafts.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Gertrude Tanner and a brother, George Tanner.

There are no services.

Interment will be in Wattsburg Cemetery.
