Ada E. Blodgett

Mrs. Ada E. Blodgett, 74, who made her home with a daughter, Mrs. Paul (Kay) Morris of Saegertown, Richmond Township, died Tuesday, October 16, 1962, at Spencer Hospital.

She was born at Scranton, July 18, 1888, a daughter of Christopher and Ann Elizabeth Pearce, and married Ralph Blodgett.  He preceded her in death.

Mrs. Blodgett was a member of New Richmond Methodist, New Richmond Grange, Pinneys Corners Ladies Aid Society and Lyona Friendship Club.

Surviving, besides Mrs. Morris, are three sisters, Mrs. Mary Wilcox of Scranton, Mrs. Evelyn Foster of Cincinnatus, NY and Mrs. Esther Harrison of Taylor; a brother, Earl Pearce of Crestline, OH; a grandson, Frank morris of Columbus, OH; and three great-grandchildren.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in North Richmond Cemetery.
