Adah E. Pettis

Miss Adah Ensworth Pettis, 80, of Meadville Home for the Aged, died Sunday, September 2, 1962, at City Hospital.

She was born at East Bradford, February 10, 1882, a daughter of John M. and Anna Rittmayer Pettis.

She was employed at Saegertown Post Office from 1901 to 1933, serving as assistant postmaster and postmaster during that time.  Previous to entering the home she worked for about twelve years at Polk State School.

She was a member of Christ Episcopal Church.

No immediate relatives survive.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Saegertown Cemetery.
