Adah K. Dearment

July 10, 1897 — April 21, 1981

Mrs. Adah K. DeArment, of Meadville, widow of John L. (Jack) DeArment, died Tuesday, April 21, 1981, following a two-month illness at United Methodist Nursing Hospital, where she had been a resident for two weeks.

She was born at Meadville, a daughter of Almon and Katherine Resinger Kiser.  DeArment died on November 19, 1976.

She was retired as legal secretary to attorney Stuart Culbertson.  She was a member of Stone United Methodist Church; Golden Crown Chapter, Order of the Eastern Star; and Trinity Shrine, White Shrine of Jerusalem.

She is survived by a step-son, J. Andrew DeArment of Bradenton, FL; two nieces, Miss Henrietta Lender of Meadville and Mrs. John (Ernestine) Williams of Conneaut Lake; and a nephew, Fred Lender of Houston, TX.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Hazel Lender.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Saegertown Cemetery.
