Adam Crawford Gurney

Adam Crawford Gurney, 18, of Meadville, died Thursday, October 5, 1995 near Wellsboro, PA as a result of an automobile accident.

Adam was born in Meadville May 27, 1977 a son of Dr. Stanley and Mary Lendick Gurney.

He was a first year student at Mansfield University, Mansfield, PA where he was a member of the wrestling team.  He was a 1995 graduate of Meadville Area Senior High and had participated in the wrestling program since seventh grade.  Adam was an avid sport enthusiast and lover of life.

Survivors, in addition to his parents include one sister, Cara Kirstin Gurney of Meadville; a maternal grandmother, Madeline Lendick of Ellwood City; a paternal grandmother, Ruth E. Gurney of Colimbiana, OH and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.
