Adam Hill

October 18, 1861 — January 1, 1753

Adam Hill, 89, retired farmer, of Meadville, died Friday morning at Meadville City Hospital.

He was born in Union Township, Crawford County, and moved to Sugar Lake community when a boy.  Later, he moved to the Black Ash community, where he lived and worked as a farmer for 40 years.  Ten years ago, he retired and moved to Meadville.

He formerly was active in the Farmer Alliance at Black Ash and in Randolph Grange.

Surviving are his widow, Rebecca Wentworth Hill; a son, Arthur W. Hill of Meadville; two granddaughters, Mrs. Jack Harris of Cortland, OH and Mrs. Fred Smith of Los Angeles and two great-grandsons.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Mt. Hope Cemetery.
