Adra A. (King) Wethli

Adra A. King Wethli, 91, of Conneaut Lake died Sunday, August 7, 2011 at home surrounded by her family.

She was born April 13, 1920 in Bloomfield Twp., Crawford Co. a daughter of Fred and Edith Wilkins King.  She married Albert Wethli August 17, 1940 and he preceded her in death August 12, 1971.

She retired from PennDot in 1983 after working as the first Parts Chaser and she previously worked at the former Meadville City Hospital, Conneaut Lake Park and the Erie Coast Guard Station.  She was also well known in the area as an Avon Representative.

She was a member of Fallowfield United Methodist Church.  She was a fun loving lady who enjoyed square dancing, sewing, motorcycle riding and always looked forward to a good party.

Survivors, include: two daughters, Sandra Patterson and her husband Arden of Atlantic and Joyce Hunter and her husband Roy of Erie; five grandchildren, Delia Metzger, Damita Fenstermaker and her husband Fred, David Bush, Joy Bush and her fiancée Lynn Swisher and Darron Bush; two great grandchildren, Keegan Fenstermaker and Karleen Fenstermaker; a sister, Ava Dean Dilley of Union City; a brother, Fred King and his wife Shirley of Brookville and several extended family and friends.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Rena B. LoBue.

Calling hours will be Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the Waid-Coleman Funeral Home, Inc., 12422 Conneaut Lake Road, Conneaut Lake.  The funeral and committal service will follow at 8 p.m. with the Rev. Karen Gray, Pastor of Fallowfield United Methodist Church, officiating.

Interment will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
