Agnes L. Boyle

Mrs. Agnes L. Boyle, 70, wife of Edward C. Boyle, of Woodcock Township, died after a brief illness Monday, May 14, 1979, at Hamot Medical Center, Erie, where she had been a patient for three days.

She was born in Woodcock Township, January 11, 1909, daughter of Homer A. and Emma Grummel Johnson.  She married Boyle May 27, 1941.

She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church.

Survivors in addition to her husband include two daughters, Mrs. William (Joyce) Durney of Port Matilda and Mrs. Craig (LaVaughn) Bartholomew of Albany, NY; a stepdaughter, Mrs. William (Lois) See of Canoga Park, PA; a step-son, Earl F. Boyle of Rochester, MI; a brother, Henry T. Johnson of Guys Mills; 12 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Greendale Cemetery.
