Agnes R. Dilley, 81, of Saegertown, died Saturday in Meadville Care Center, where she had been a patient since May.
She was born in Portland, NY, on July 10, 1907, a daughter of the late Ross and Phoebe Elliott Miller. She had retired from Talon, Inc., of Meadville as an inspector, after many years of employment.
She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Ralph (Nellie) Knickerbocker of Saegertown, Mrs. Robert (Donna) McAvoy of Stafford, VA and Mrs. Ruth Ann Lynch of Woodbridge, VA; two sons, Harold G. Dilley of Goldsboro, NC and Lewis Ross Dilley of Meadville; four sisters, Mrs. Edward (Dora) Miller of Zephyr Falls, FL, Mrs. Ava Peterman of Greenville, Mrs. Glen (Evelyn) Jones of Tucson, AZ and Mrs. Ivan (Jessie) Napper of Sherman, NY; a brother, Layton H. Miller of Zephyr Falls; fourteen grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank E. Dilley in 1960, and by two infant sons, Donald and Norman Dilley; and a sister, Florence Crabb.
Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.
Interment was in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
