Albert Adelbert Griggs

May 22, 1870 — January 1, 1753

Albert Adelbert Griggs, 71, died Saturday morning at the home of a daughter, Mrs. T. A. Truran of Meadville, after a long illness.

Until 1938, Mr. Griggs was employed as a boilermaker at the Erie Railroad shops here.  He was a member of the International Brotherhood of Boilermakers of America.

Mr. Griggs is survived by two sons, Earl of Meadville and Francis of Chicago, IL; and seven daughters, Mrs. Kathryn Doyle and Mrs. Leona Truran, both of Meadville, Mrs. Rose Mathews of Toledo, OH, Mrs. Gertha McKittrick of Cleveland, Mrs. Annetta Williams of Guys Mills, Mrs. Mabel Quinn of Woodcock Township and Mrs. Margaret Handley of Conneaut Lake.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Blooming Valley Cemetery.
