Albert L. Reitinger

Albert L. (Al) Reitinger, 59, of Meadville died Wednesday, January 25, 2017 at home following a sudden illness. He was born August 30, 1957 in Pittsburgh a son of Joseph and Donna Henry Reitinger. He married Susan Stevenson October 1, 1983 and she survives. He was a 1975 graduate of Conneaut Lake High School and a 1979 graduate of Thiel College with bachelors degrees in accounting and business administration. He was a certified public accountant working for Sanray Corp., Travaglini Enterprises and then operating his own accounting practice. Most recently he worked for W.E. Unger & Associates and part-time at Valu Home Center, Meadville. He was affiliated with Lake Lutheran Church, Conneaut Lake and a former member and twice past Master of Pine Lodge #498, Linesville. He enjoyed golfing (and once had a hole-in-one), hunting, woodworking, cooking and playing guitar. Survivors, in addition to his wife Susan of 33 years, include: a son, Eric Reitinger and his wife Svetlana of Erie; his parents, Joseph and Donna Reitinger of Cabot, PA; a sister, Chris Reitinger and her husband Pete Craft of Conneaut Lake; a brother, Joseph Reitinger and his wife Coletta of Conneaut Lake and several nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be Friday from 4-8 p.m. at the Robert W. Waid Funeral Home, Inc., 581 Chestnut Street, Meadville. The funeral service will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with the Rev. Brian Riddle, Pastor of Lake Lutheran Church, officiating. Interment will be in Saegertown Cemetery. The family suggests memorials be made to Lake Lutheran Church, P.O.
