Albert J. (Turtle) Meiser, 79, of Conneaut Lake, died Saturday, November 16, 2002 at Meadville Medical Center.
He was born in Pittsburgh, October 13, 1923, a son of the late Albert and Emma Leonhardt Meiser.
He was a 1941 graduate of South Hills High School, Pittsburgh and a US Army Veteran of World War II. He worked as a carpet installer for over 25 years, retiring in 1979. He was a member of Conneaut Lake Park VFD and Veteran of Foreign Wars Post #7842, Linesville. He was an excellent carpenter and wood worker who enjoyed working outdoors.
He was a member of Our Lady Queen of the Americas Roman Catholic Church, Conneaut Lake.
Survivors include a sister, Margie Seiss (Bill) of Pittsburgh; one niece; three nephews and dear friends, Rocco, Cheryl, Kristy and Val Garnet of Conneaut Lake.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Emilie Bell.
Services were held with Waid-Coleman Funeral Home.
Interment was in Our Lady Queen of the Americas Cemetery.
