Albert N. Hogue

Albert N. Hogue, 78, of Conneaut Lake died Sunday, June 20, 2010 at the Meadville Medical Center.

He was born June 8, 1932 in Meadville a son of John and Clara Miller Hogue.  He married Barbara Wonderling November 1, 1958 and she survives.

He was a carpenter for 25 years and a member of Carpenters Local #556 retiring in 1994.  Previously he worked at Talon Inc. and J.C. Penney Co. in Meadville.  He was a veteran of the Korean War serving with the US Army.  He was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, Conneaut Lake and Saegertown American Legion Post #205.  In his spare time he enjoyed making bird houses.

Survivors, in addition to his wife Barbara of 51 years, include: four children, Douglas Hogue and his wife Louise of Leominster, MA, Kimberly Lybarger and her husband David of Saegertown, Jeff Hogue of Hadley and Ted Hogue and his wife Claire of Meadville; six grandchildren, Jessica Bowes and her husband James, Lacie Lybarger, Ashley Hogue, Andy Lybarger, Sarah Hogue and Emily Hogue; two sisters, Helen Rodgers of Cochranton and Edna Karns of Meadville and a brother, Donald Hogue of Sunnyvale, CA.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Howard Hogue and Francis Hogue and two sisters, Ruth Getchell Reichel and Audrey Karn.

Calling hours will be Tuesday from 5-8 p.m.  and Wednesday from 10-11 a.m. at the Waid-Coleman Funeral Home, Inc., 12422 Conneaut Lake Road, Conneaut Lake, PA.  Saegertown American Legion Post #205 will have a service Tuesday at 7:45 p.m.

The funeral and committal service will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with the Rev. William R. Green, Pastor and Rev. David R. Brumagin, Assoc. Pastor of Trinity United Methodist Church, officiating.  Military Honors will be provided by Huidekoper VFW Post #2006.

Interment will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
