Albert O. Darby

Albert O. Darby, 82, of Jensen Beach, FL, a former Meadville resident, died suddenly Saturday August 5, 1967, at Martin Memorial Hospital, Stuart, FL.

Mr. Darby was born on November 20, 1884, in England, a son of Mr. and Mrs. William and Emily Summers Darby.  He married the former Myrta Rodgers on January 9, 1909.

Mr. Darby was a tool and die maker at Talon, Inc., before his retirement in 1957.  He was a member of the Stuart Presbyterian Church.

Surviving are his widow; a daughter, Mrs. William J. (Blanche) Stright of Meadville; a son, William Howard Darby of Erie; a sister, Mrs. Ethel Coli of Erie; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Greendale Cemetery.
