Alberta C. Collins

Alberta C. Collins, 66, wife of J. Vance Collins, of East Fairfield Township, died Saturday evening following a lingering illness.

Mrs. Collins, who was born in the state of Indiana, came with her family to his county about 21 years ago.  She was a member of Guys Mills Methodist Church.

Besides her husband, she is survived by three sons, Devere Collins at home, Orval Collins of Fredericksburg and J. Vance Collins, Jr. of Chicago, IL; two daughters, Mrs. O. G. Baldwin of Rensselaer, IN and Mrs. James Welch of Guys Mills; two brothers, Charles and J. Makeever; two sisters, Miss Nellie Makeever and Mrs. Otis Phillips, all of Fair Oaks, IN; and nine grandchildren.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Union Cemetery, Guys Mills.
