Alberta Mahle

Miss Alberta Mahle, 58, of Sandy Lake, died Monday, March 26, 1962, at City Hospital after an illness of five weeks.

Miss Mahle, a former public school teacher, was born in Sandy Lake Township, Mercer County, June 27, 1903, a daughter of Samuel A. and Effie DeFrance Mahle.  She attended Grove City College and was graduated from Pennsylvania State College.  She did graduate work at the University of Pittsburgh.  Miss Mahle was a member of New Lebanon Community Church.

Surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Lester (Rebecca) Jewell of Sandy Lake and Mrs. Ralph (Elizabeth) Joyce of Meadville; and several nieces and nephews.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Oak Hill Cemetery, Sandy Lake.
