Alfred J. Leskovsek, 78, of Conneaut Lake, died Friday, November 2, 2001 at Rolling Felds Nursing Home.
He was born January 7, 1923 in Willock, PA, a son of the late Joseph and Ethel Theisis Leskovsek. He married Violet Tomczyk and she survives.
He was a US Army Veteran of WWII. He worked for several years as a carpet installer in the Pittsburgh area and had previously been a tavern owner and operator in Wisconsin with his father. He was a member of Local Union #1759 United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners, Pittsburgh. He especially loved fishing.
He was of the Catholic Faith.
Survivors, in addition to his wife, include three daughters, Genie Morrison of Tucson, AZ, Katrina Kramer of North East Hampton, IA and Kelly Zillmers of Brookfield, WI; one sister, Elizabeth Stiefvater of Pittsburgh; one brother, William Leskovsek of Poynette, WI; several grandchildren and a close friend, James McNulty (Rebecca) of Adamsville.
Services were held with the Waid-Coleman Funeral Home.
