Alice A. Mears

Alice A. Mears, 69, of Saegertown, a National Tel-Tronics retiree, died Monday, January 20, 1992, at her residence.

She was born in Pittsburgh, October 20, 1922, a daughter of Alexander and Emma Roth Brocksh.  She married George E. Mears, July 25, 1948.  He preceded her in death May 2, 1986.

She attended Bible Baptist Church of Meadville.  She retired from National Tel-Tronics as a production worker.  She was a member of the Senior Center of Conneautville.

Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. David (Wanda) Heimann of Warren, PA; four sons, Ernest Mears of Phoenix, AZ, Larry Mears of Cambridge Springs, Mark Mears of Sebastian, FL and Roy Mears of Meadville; a sister, Emma Geibel of Pittsburgh; two brothers, Arthur Brooks of San Diego, CA and Alvin Brooks of Pittsburgh; eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son, George Gift and a sister, Martha Froehly.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
