Alice F. Neely

Mrs. Alice F. Neely, 76, of Meadville, wife of Nicholas T. Neely, died Friday, October 16, 1987, at Meadville Medical Center following a lengthy illness.

She was born in Eveleth, Minn., February 27, 1911, a daughter of Anselem and Fannie Niemi.  She married Mr. Neely in November 1934.  He survives.

She was employed as a waitress at Harriett's Lunch, Arch Street, for several years.  She was a member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ and the Italian Civic Club.

Survivors, in addition to her husband, include three daughters, Mrs. Mike (Lila) Cataapno of West Seneca, NY, Mrs. Fred (Nancy) Houge of Fayetteville, NC and Mrs. Joyce Collins of Meadville; four sons, Nicholas A. Neely of Titusville, Jack L. Neely, George E. Neely and Kevin T. Neely, all of Meadville; two sisters, Mrs. Olivia Saukko of Eveleth, Minn. and Aina Hytonen of Virginia, Minn.; a brother, George Niemi of Virginia, Minn.; twenty-three grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
