Alice I. Campbell, 84 of Grove City, passed away on the morning of June 11, 2018 at her home. Alice was born on July 12, 1933 in Sandy Lake to the late Harry A. and Ruth A. Dean Piel. She was a graduate of Sandy Lake High School and went on to work as a secretary for Foster Grading in Jackson Center and as the secretary/treasurer for Jackson Township for over thirty years. Alice married her beloved husband, Clair H. Campbell, on August 31, 1951, he survives at home. Alice was a very faithful woman, she was a member of the Sandy Lake Presbyterian Church for many years then became a member of Center Presbyterian Church in Grove City. She was very active in the churches and loved her Lord. She and her husband loved to travel, having visited all fifty states and over forty countries across the globe. Alice and Clair loved to work hard together to be able to see the world. They loved to attend flea markets together, as well as gun shows and antique malls. They even had their own antique mall in their home, Campbell’s Collectibles. Alice was a woman who loved to work and stay busy and loved being friendly to everyone she met. In addition to her husband, Alice is survived by her two daughters, Lynda C. Johnson and husband Mark of Warren, PA, and Cathy L. Kellner of Stoneboro, six grandchildren, Michelle Kehoe and Husband John of Douglasville, PA, Mindy Fox and husband Tom of Tidioute, Kristy Wright and husband Brad of Richmond, IN, Richie McClearn and companion Tami of Jamesville, WI, Lisa Hicks and husband Tim of Sandy Lake, and David Kellner and companion Alyssa of Sandy Lake, eleven great-grandchildren, Lauren Roofner and fiancé Andy, Jarod Roofner and wife Kaylee, Sydney Kehoe, Johnny Kehoe, Kayla Wright, Kierra Wright, Kamryn Wright, Brendyn Wright, Hannah McClearn, Katelyn Hicks, and Savannah Hicks, one brother John Piel and wife Nancy of Rockwell, TX, and her beloved cat, Miss Kitty. Alice was preceded in death by her parents. Funeral Arrangements have been entrusted to the Black Funeral Home, 99 Franklin Street, Stoneboro, where family and friends are welcome from 4-7 pm on Thursday, June 14. A funeral service will take place in the funeral home at 11 am on Friday, June 15, with the Pastor Bill Woodman, pastor of Center Presbyterian Church in Grove City, Officiating. Interment will take place in Crestview Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Alice’s name to an animal shelter of one’s choice to honor Alice’s love for animals.
