Alice Riemann

Mrs. Alice Riemann, 76, of Meadville, died Saturday, August 14, 1976, at the United Methodist Nursing Hospital after a period of failing health.

She was born at Woodstock, Ontario, October 7, 1899.  She married A. O. Riemann, manager and president of the former Crawford Store, August 4, 1930.  He died in 1974.  Mrs. Riemann in her early life was a school teacher in Canada.  She was a member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ and a former Sunday school teacher; was a graduate of Stratford Normal School, Stratford, Ontario; a member of City Hospital Ladies Advisory Committee and the Travelers Club.

Survivors include two sons, Paul A. Rieman of Madison, NJ and Robert G. Riemann of Middletown, NY; a sister-in-law, Mrs. Theodore (Freda) Fox of Meadville; a brother-in-law, Carl Murray of Stratford, Ontario and two grandchildren, Rachel and Randy Riemann of Madison.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Greendale Cemetery.
