Allen J. Dangel

Allen J. Dangel, 47, of Blooming Valley, died at City Hospital, Wednesday, May 3, 1978, after a sudden illness.

He was born at McKeesport September 27, 1930, son of Edward L. and Elsie Sharbaugh Dangel.  He married Helen Vivian July 4, 1959.

He was meat manager at Quality Market, Meadville, for the past seven years and was a meat cutter by trade.  He was a member of Blooming Valley and Hayfield volunteer fire departments.

Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Theresa Marie and Patricia Ann, and two sons, Andrew James and Edward Allen, all at home; his father of Espyville; two sisters, Irma Marie Dangel of Pittsburgh and Mrs. George (Marlene) Beisler of Meadville; three brothers, Edward L. Dangel, Jr. of Berea, OH, Robert C. Dangel of Pittsburgh and Howard G. Dangel of McKeesport; and one grandchild.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in St. Agatha's Cemetery.
