Allen S. Byham

Allen S. Byham, 82, of Meadville, died at Spencer Hospital Saturday, October 2, 1976, after a one-year illness.

He was born in Randolph Township July 16, 1894, a son of Robert W. and Josephine Murdoch Byham.  He first married Ruby Tanner who died in 1947.  He then married Cecile Calvin who died in 1959.  Mr. Byham was retired from the power house of Avtex Corp.  He was a member of Mt. Hope United Methodist Church and the Men's Bible Class of Stone Methodist Church.

Survivors include four sons, Lewis R. and John C., both of Meadville, Robert A. of Brewton, Alabama and Raymond L. of Burkburnett, TX; a sister, Miss Edith Byham of Meadville; 11 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Mt. Hope Cemetery.
