Alma G. Castile

Alma G. Castile, 79, of Richmond Township, died Thursday, January 7, 1988, at Meadville Medical Center following a three-month illness.

Mr. Castile was born in Warren, Ohio, August 24, 1908, a son of Chauncey and Sara Jane Wildman Castile.  He married Gertrude Norr November 29, 1930.  She survives.

He was retired from the acid department of the former FMC Corp., Meadville.

Survivors, in addition to his wife, include three sons, Alfred J. Castile of Meadville, Donald C. Castile of Northgate, MI and Kenneth E. Castile of Guys Mills; three sisters, Florence Running of Cambridge Springs, Eva Canfield of Cambridge Springs and Pheobe Huson of Meadville; ten grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by one daughter, Dorothy Ellen; one granddaughter, Sandy Smith; two sisters, Velma Prentice and Ada Humes; three brothers, Clifton Castile, Harmon Castile and James Castile.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
