Alston O. Warp, 67, of Blooming Valley, died at City Hospital Saturday, June 9, 1973, after a three-year illness.
He was born at Mt. Hope August 15, 1905, a son of Frank A. and Ancinohie Oakes Warp. He married Ethel Childs June 26, 1929. He was a carpenter employed last by Allegheny College. Before that he was an auto mechanic in Randolph Township. He was a member of Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners of America, Local 556, and the Meadville Club.
Survivors include his widow; a sister, Mrs. Charles (Anita) Fowler of Guys Mills; a brother, Celyn Warp of Guys Mills; and several nieces and nephews.
A sister, Mrs. Lawrence (Evelyn) Kightlinger died June 10.
Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.
Interment was in Mt. Hope Cemetery.
