Alvin Murshetz, 72, of Conneaut Lake, died at Meadville Medical Center, Monday, November 5, 1990, after a sudden illness.
He was born in Imperial on April 10, 1918, a son of Nazzi and Anna Kuny Murshetz. He married Ruth Concelman on April 18, 1964. She survives.
He had been self-employed in the vending machine business in Ambridge. He was a veteran of World War II, having served with the US Coast Guard; member of Manteo Masonic Lodge 521, Maneto, NC; Scottish Rite Bodies of New Orleans, LA; Jerusalem Shrine Temple of New Orleans, LA; American Legion Post 341, Ambridge and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 165, Ambridge.
Survivors, in addition to his wife, include two sisters, Alma Bercik of Ambridge and Irma Wargetz of Cleveland; a brother, Nazzi Murshetz of Ambridge and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by two sisters, Gazella Tidmore-Kubia and Freda Duda.
Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.
Interment was in Evergreen Cemetery, Harmonsburg.
