Amber R. Conrad

Mrs. Amber R. Conrad, 67, of Meadville, widow of Clarence E. Conrad, Sr., died at City Hospital Sunday, September 25, 1966, after an illness of several months.

She was born in Venango County January 23, 1899, a daughter of Charles E. and Emma Bannon Bower, and married Mr. Conrad September 7, 1917.  He died in 1959.

Mrs. Conrad was a member of Stone Methodist Church and the Charles N. Stafford Post Aux., American Legion.

Surviving are  a son, Clarence E. Conrad, Jr. of Meadville; two sisters, Mrs. Ethel Smith of Erie and Mrs. Hazel Keilbaugh of Cleveland; a brother, Floyd Bower of California; three grandchildren, Cathleen, Debra and Gary Conrad; and three nephews.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Kiser Hill Cemetery.
