Amelia Underwood

Amelia Underwood, 98, died Sunday, April 6, 1986, at North Park Manor after a short illness.  She had been a resident of North Park Manor for the past 12 years.

She was born in Louisville, KY, January 16, 1888, a daughter of Adam and Johanna Kramer Octsenhirt.  She married Charles S. Underwood, November 18, 1916.  He preceded her in death October 1, 1955.

Mrs. Underwood was a member of First Presbyterian Church for the past 30 years.

Survivors include a son, C. Craig Underwood of Meadville and two grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by three sisters, Elizabeth Geltz, Rose Geltz and Carrie Yearsley.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
