Mrs. Amy A. Flaugh, 85, of Meadville, died at her home Wednesday, November 26, 1969, after an illness of several years.
She was born in East Fairfield Township, June 6, 1884, a daughter of Lewis and Almira Crooks Freyermuth. She married Fred R. Flaugh, February 17, 1904. He died in 1962.
Mrs. Flaugh was a member of French Creek Valley, Crawford County Pomona, PA State and National Granges, the Senior Citizen Assn. and St. Paul's United Church of Christ. She and her husband spent most of their lives farming in East Fairfield Township.
Surviving are three daughters, Miss Sara E. Flaugh of Meadville, Mrs. James D. (Freda) Aley of Hartstown and Mrs. Clyde W. (Frances) Smith of Akron, OH; a son, Fred Merle Flaugh of Garden Grove, CA; a sister, Mrs. W. F. (Loie) Foulk of Meadville; a half sister, Mrs. Floyd (Ida) Smith of Ft. Payne, AL; a brother, Archie Freyermuth and a half brother, Burton Freyermuth, both of Meadville; eight grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren.
Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.
Interment was in Cochranton Cemetery.
