Amy Beth Fitch

Amy Beth Fitch, 48, of Meadville, died Tuesday, July 10, 2012 at Meadville Medical Center following an unexpected illness.

She was born April 16, 1964 in Meadville, a daughter of William L. and Mary Lee Vaughn McQuiston.  She married Jack R. Fitch in 2007 and he survives.

She was formerly employed as a nurse’s aide while living in Florida and she enjoyed fishing and crocheting.

Survivors, in addition to her husband Jack, include three sons, Jason Blaney and his wife Brianna stationed in Camp Lejeune, NC, John Bramlett of Meadville, and Caelan Bramlett of Meadville; her father and stepmother, William L. and Jeannine McQuiston of Meadville; two stepchildren, Kariana and Jack Fitch, Jr. of Linesville; three brothers, David M. McQuiston and his wife Linda of Wexford, Richard McQuiston and his companion Tracey of Colonial Beach, VA, and Kevin McQuiston of St. Petersburg, FL; a granddaughter, Jocelyn Blaney; and nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles.

She was preceded in death by her mother.

A memorial service will be held at the Robert W. Waid Funeral Home, 581 Chestnut St., Meadville at a date and time to be announced.
