Andrew James (Andy) Cornell

Andrew James (Andy) Cornell, 20, of Meadville, died Wednesday, April 22, 1998 from injuries sustained in a dirt bike accident.

He was born September 13, 1977 in Meadville, a son of Fred H. and Carol A. Bowes Cornell, Jr.

Mr. Cornell had attended Meadville public schools and was most recently employed as a carpet installer at the Bed Post.  He previously worked for his uncle at John Talkington Carpet Service as an installer for 5 years.  He especially enjoyed riding his dirt bike.

Survivors include his parents of Meadville; a sister, Candace Cornell of Meadville; a brother, Michael P. Cornell (Krista) of Meadville; his maternal grandmother, Maude Bowes of Meadville; his paternal grandparents, Fred and Anna Lou Cornell, Sr. of Cochranton; his girlfriend, Tiffany Warren of Townville; three nieces and one nephew.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Arthur William Bowes.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.
