Andrew S. (Andy) Pate

Andrew S. (Andy) Pate, 88, of Conneaut Lake, died Saturday, January 9, 1999 at Meadville Medical Center following a sudden illness.

He was born August 1, 1910 in Ambridge, a son of the late Andrew and Elsie Mahan Pate.  He married Emma Pate.  She preceded him in death April 4, 1977.  He subsequently married Margaret Pate.  She survives.

He retired as an electrician at Armco Steel of Ambridge.  He was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church.

Survivors, in addition to his wife, include several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his first wife, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Victor and Freelon Pate and one sister, Hazel Martin.

Services were held with the Waid-Coleman Funeral Home.

Interment was in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
