Andrew S. Miller

Andrew (Andy) S. Miller, 26, of Meadville, died Wednesday, December 25, 1996 at his residence as the result of a house fire.

He was born September 14, 1970 in Cleveland, OH, a son of Ronald and Norma Miller.

Andy attended Meadville Area Senior High School and played hockey on the first Meadville High School State Champion Hockey team in 1987.  He continued to play in an adult hockey league and in the annual high school alumni games.  He worked for Foltz Construction Co. for four years most recently as a project foreman.  He was a member of First Presbyterian Church.

Survivors in addition to his parents include one brother, Jeffrey R. Miller of Meadville; one sister, Mrs. John (Karen) Zaphyr of Pittsburgh; his maternal grandmother, Mrs. Clyde (Hazel) Schoch of Lansing, MI; his paternal grandmother, Elizabeth Miller of Detroit, MI; one niece, one nephew and also aunts, uncles and cousins.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Greendale Cemetery.
