Anita G. Fowler

Anita G. Fowler, 92, formerly of Mt. Hope, a current resident of the Crawford County Care Center, died there, Friday, April 12, 1996 following a period of declining health.

She was born September 20, 1903 at Guys Mills, a daughter of the late Frank and Ancinohie (Oakes) Warp.  She married Charles Merle Fowler June 11, 1929.  He died August 20, 1981.

Mrs. Fowler was a homemaker and a member of Mt. Hope United Methodist Church.

Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Robert (Carol) Howell of Meadville; three sons, Kenton Fowler of Meadville, David Fowler of Guys Mills and Terry Fowler of Nederland, TX; ten grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one sister, Evelyn Kightlinger; two brothers, Celyn and Alston Warp; one grandson, Clayton Fowler and one granddaughter, Jessica Fowler.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Mt. Hope Cemetery.
