Anna Belle Spurgeon

September 16, 1891 — January 1, 1753

Mrs. Anna Belle Spurgeon, 64, wife of Frank Spuregeon, Woodcock Township, died early Saturday at Spencer Hospital after a long illness.

She was a daughter of the late Wesley and Elizabeth Fisher Blodgett.  She was born on the farm where she resided and spent her early life in the Meadville area before moving to Cleveland in 1910.  In 1945, she returned to the family homestead.  She attended the Wesleyan Methodist Church, Meadville.

She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Hattie L. Rodeheaver of Cleveland and Mrs. Thelma Webster of Wadsworth, OH; a son, William R. Peachy of Morgantown, WV; three grandchildren and a sister, Mrs. Edith Anderhalt of Meadville.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Sunset Memorial Park.
