Anna E. Locke

Anna E. Locke, 68, of Saegertown, died Sunday, August 16, 1998 in Mooresville, NC following a sudden illness.

She was born March 24, 1930 in Greenville, a daughter of the late Thomas E. and Almira Grace Crawford Gibson.  She married Richard H. Locke June 30, 1951.  He survives.

Mrs. Locke was a graduate of Saegertown High School.  She was a homemaker and enjoyed craftwork.

She was a member of Blooming Valley United Methodist Church, its United Methodist Women's Society, and church choir for over 30 years.

Survivors, in addition to her husband, include three daughters, Mrs. James (Cheryl) Moore of Meadville, Connie Locke of Saegertown and Mrs. Lorin (Karen) Zilhaver of Venango; three sons, Richard H. Locke, Jr. (Sue) of Waterford, Paul E. Locke of Sandy Lake and David G. Locke (Diana) of Cambridge Springs; eight grandchildren; one brother, James Gibson of St. Petersburg, FL; and one half-brother, Kenneth Houser of Greenville.

She was preceded in death by two sisters, Eleanor Grace Gibson and Charlotte Luce.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Blooming Valley Cemetery.
