Anna Elizabeth Pees

Mrs. Anna Elizabeth Pees, 97, of Long Beach, CA, died at Los Altos Hospital, Long Beach, Tuesday, February 24, 1970.  She had resided in Long Beach for the past 25 years.

Mrs. Pees was born at Norristown, November 29, 1872, a daughter of Isaac and Julia Smith Wimmer.  She was the widow of Henry B. Pees.

Mrs. Pees was a member of the United Church of Christ while in Meadville.

Surviving are one son, Chester Pees of Meadville; one sister, Mrs. Alice Snider of California; one grandson, Samuel T. Pees of Brisbane, Australia; and several nieces and nephews.  Two sisters died previously.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Greendale Cemetery.
