Anna Mary (Miller) Fox

Anna Mary Fox, 89, of Meadville, passed away Monday, December 5, 2016 at her residence.

She was born October 28, 1927 in Ligonier, a daughter of the late James Karl and Alice Isabelle Stom Miller.  She married Dan A. Fox July 7, 1951 and he preceded her in death November 25, 2009.

Anna Mary was a 1945 graduate of Meadville High School.  She worked as a secretary at the Keystone View Co., in the office of Dr. Harold DeGrange, Westinghouse, Heatrex, Pennsylvania employment office, Gizzie Memorials, and Palmer Tool and Forging Co.

Anna Mary was an active member of Pine Grove United Methodist Church.  She was a volunteer for over 30 years with the Wesbury United Methodist Community Sunset Auxiliary, a member of the Woodcock Township ladies group, and enjoyed reading and knitting.

Survivors include two nieces, Carolyn White and her husband William of Montrose and Beth Bitler of Analomink; two nephews, Eric Pardee and his wife Sue of University Heights, OH, and Craig Pardee of Meadville; and several great-nieces and great-nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by an infant son, Dan A. Fox, Jr.; three sisters, Dorothy Shea, Clara Bitler, and Margaret Pardee; and three nephews, Charles W. Bitler, Joel Pardee, and Michael T. Bitler.

Calling hour will be Friday from 10 to 11 a.m. at Pine Grove United Methodist Church, 9488 S. Wayland Rd., Meadville where a memorial service will follow at 11:00 a.m. with the Rev. Edward Patterson, Church Pastor and the Rev. Alice McClymonds, co-officiating.

Interment will be in Kiser Hill Cemetery.
