Anna G. Prather

Miss Anna G. Prather, 82, who graduated from Meadville City Hospital School of Nursing and in 1905, devoted most of her life to nursing in the Meadville community, died Monday, April 12, 1965, at City Hospital after a short illness.

Miss Prather resided at Meadville Home for the Aged since September 1959.

She was active in the Meadville Bird and Tree Club and was a member of Meadville Business and Professional Women's Club.

She was born in Troy Township, Crawford County, July 1, 1882, a daughter of James C. and Emily Hofford Prather.

Survivors include a sister, Mrs. Louise Hickman of Meadville; two nieces, Mrs. Vincent Ellison of Meadville and Mrs. Emma Stuart of Buffalo; a nephew, Robert K. Howe of Buffalo and several cousins.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Troy Center Cemetery.
