Anna L. Dearborn, 86, formerly of S. Moisertown Rd., Saegertown and a resident of the Crawford County Care Center since September died there Thursday, November 20, 2003.
She was born in Spring Twp., Crawford Co., PA January 7, 1917 a daughter of Warren G. and Ada E. Abbey Dearborn.
She retired in 1984 as an inspector at Avtex, Inc. after 41 years of service.
She was a graduate of Meadville High School. She attended Christ Evangelical Free Church of Saegertown, was a member of the Ladies Missionary Guild, enjoyed the summer ministry of the old Lake Erie Bible Conference, was a student of Biblical Prophecy and participated in a Friday morning Bible study group with ladies from various churches. She was also a member of the former RFOM (Room For One More) group. She enjoyed walking and traveling, in particular her trip to the Holy Land.
Survivors include a sister, Mildred M. Walton and her husband Charles of Meadville; a sister-in-law, Pauline Dearborn of Saegertown, many nieces and nephews and many great nieces and great nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, L. Arden Dearborn and Maurice O. Dearborn.
Calling hours will be Sunday from 2-5 p.m. at the Robert W. Waid Funeral Home, Inc., 581 Chestnut St., Meadville.
The funeral service will be Monday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with the Rev. Gar Hull, Pastor of Christ Evangelical Free Church of Saegertown and Rev. Harold Walton, Nephew, officiating.
Burial will be in Saegertown Cemetery.
