Anna M. Wegley

Anna M. Wegley, 69, of Meadville, died Wednesday, February 22, 1989, at the home of her son in Lawrence Park, following an extended illness.

She was born in Irwin, Westmoreland County, January 2, 1920, a daughter of Henry and Anna Francis Lacina Dolensky.  She married Claude E. Wegley on March 13, 1943.  He survives.

She was employed as a telephone sales representative at Sears Catalog Store in Meadville.  She was a member of Stone Methodist Church and the United Methodist Women, and a member of Meadville Elks Lodge 219 Aux.

Survivors, in addition to her husband, include a son, Claude E. Wegley, Jr. of Lawrence Park; three daughters, Mrs. John (Rita) Tingley of Fairview, Mrs. Thomas (Carol) Wegley Brown of Austin, TX and Mrs. Tom (Jennifer) Jacob of Temple, TX; three sisters, Emily McFadden and Josephine Hazel, both of Greensburg and Florence McElfresh Hill of Hollywood, FL; four granddaughters and three grandsons.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Violet Dolensky and a brother, Harry Dolensky.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Greendale Cemetery.
