Anna May Walls

Anna May Walls, 74, of Meadville, died Friday, October 23, 1987 at Meadville Medical Center following a year and a half illness.

She was born in Cherry Tree, April 22, 1913, a daughter of Joseph H. Walls, Sr. and Gwendola M. Sutton Walls.

She owned and operated Walls' Beauty Shop on North Street for 30 years.  She was a member of Christian Missionary Alliance Church.

Survivors include a sister, Mrs. William (Betty Jane) Davern of Meadville; six brothers, Joseph H. Walls, Jr., Paul Edward Walls and Jerry Walls, all of Meadville, Jack S. Walls of Blooming Valley, Robert F. Walls of Grand Valley and Waldon D. Walls of Lincoln, NE and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Margaretta Jean.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Kiser Hill Cemetery.
