Mrs. Anna Potosky, 70, of Guys Mills, died at her home Wednesday evening, November 12, 1969, after a long illness.
Mrs. Potosky was born in Czechoslovakia, November 18, 1898, a daughter of Joseph and Sophie Corczerac Urbanek. She first was married to Andrew M. Washnock in 1913. He died in 1926. In 1927, she married Mr. Potosky. She was a member of St. Hippolyte's Roman Catholic Church, Frenchtown.
Surviving are her husband; two daughters, Mrs. Clifford (Helen) Porter of Guys Mills and Miss Mary Potosky at home; six sons, Alexander Potosky at home, Edward Potosky of Guys Mills, Andrew M. Washnock of Cochranton, Joseph Washnock of East Springfield, Michael Washnock of Farmington, CT and John Washnock of Safety Harbor, FL; fourteen grandchildren and a great-grandson.
Two daughters and a son preceded her in death.
Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.
Interment was in St. Hippolyte Cemetery.
