Anthony J. (Tony) Digiacomo, III, 26, of 16354 Helen St. Saegertown, died unexpectedly at home in his sleep, Sunday September 30, 2007.

He was born at Greenville Hospital Feb. 11, 1981, a son of Anthony J. and Maria Trotta Digiacomo, II.

Tony was a 2000 graduate of Saegertown High School and a graduate of Le Cordon Bleu Culinary Institute of Pittsburgh.  He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Edinboro University in 2005.  He loved music, was an accomplished drummer, and enjoyed the martial arts.

He was employed as a therapeutic support staff person for a local human services agency.

He was of the Catholic faith and had been attending the First Church of God.

He was a kind and loving son and will be missed by his family and friends.

Survivors include his parents, Anthony and Maria Digiacomo of Saegertown; a sister, Angela Digiacomo of Pittsburgh; his maternal grandmother, Angela Trotta of Sharpsville; 1 nephew; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Calling hours will be Wednesday from 4 to 6:30 p.m. at the Robert W. Waid Funeral Home, Inc., 581 Chestnut St., Meadville where a vigil prayer service will be held Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. for the family.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday at 10:00 a.m. at St. Brigid Roman Catholic Church, 383 Arch St., Meadville with the Rev. Fr. Mark O’Hern as Celebrant.

Interment will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Hermitage.

Memorials may be made to the Edinboro University Memorial Fund, Reeder Hall, 219 Meadville St., Edinboro, PA 16444.
