Archie H. Benson

Archie H. Bentley, 72, formerly of Espyville, died suddenly at his winter residence in Mesa, AZ, Wednesday, March 26, 1969.  His home was in Albuquerque, NM.

He was born in Lincolnville on November 10, 1896.  He first married the former Lucille Hoyt who died in 1940.  He then married Evelyn Hay in 1945.

Mr. Bentley was employed as a dairy farmer in Crawford County for most of his life until his retirement in 1965 when he and Mrs. Bentley moved to Albuquerque.

Surviving, besides his widow, are three daughters, Mrs. Howard (Helen) Flickinger of Linesville, Mrs. Robert (Ruth) Vickery of Andover, OH and Mrs. Frank (Norma) Fath of LaVerne, CA; two sons, Harry Bentley of Erie and Neil Bentley of Espyville; three sisters, Mrs. Harold (Ethel) Gleason of Meadville, Mrs. Fred (Edna) Daly of Los Gatos, CA and Mrs. Marvin (Evelyn) Lasley of Los Gatos, CA; and 19 grandchildren.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Radle Cemetery in Randolph Township, Crawford County.
