Archie W. Freyermuth

Archie W. Freyermuth, 73, of Meadville, died at City Hospital Saturday, July 18, 1970, after a sudden illness.  He had been in poor health for several months and had resided at Mead Nursing Home since December 1969.

He was born in East Fairfield Township, December 28, 1896, a son of Lewis and Mira Crooks Freyermuth.  He never married.

Mr. Freyermuth was a carpenter until he retired in 1960.

He was a member and former trustee of Carpenters Local 556 and was a member of the Elks Lodge.

Surviving are two half sisters, Mrs. Loie Foulk of Meadville and Mrs. Floyd (Ida) Smith of Ft. Payne, AL; one half brother, Burton Freyermuth of Meadville; and several nieces and nephews.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Cochranton Cemetery.
