Ardelle Mary Guthrie

Ardelle Mary Guthrie, 71, of Meadville, died Thursday, June 15, 1995, at Meadville Medical Center following a sudden illness.

She was born January 22, 1924, in Oil City, a daughter of Walter S. and Wilda (Hale) Attleberger.  She married Joseph Simonetta and subsequently married Warren H. Guthrie, May 16, 1987.  He survives.

She retired from Talon as a production worker after over thirty years service.  She was a graduate of Cranberry High School.  She was a member of Italian Civic Club Aux., Eagle's Aux., Mead Chapter, Order of Eastern Star and Meadville Grottoettes.

Survivors in addition to her husband, include three daughters, Patricia Clappsaddle of Gettysburg, PA, Mary Jo Uplinger of Linesville and Debbie Chase of Harmonsburg; a step-son, Kenneth; three step-daughters, Luci Marie, Ethel and Patty Ann; a sister, Esther Hahn of Kissimmee, FL; a brother, Raymond Attleberger of Frankin; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by one brother, Dean Attleberger and two sisters, Ruth Steck and Dorothy Attleberger.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in St. Brigid Cemetery.
