Arthur A. Lecomte

September 10, 1872 — April 5, 1961

Arthur A. LeComte, 88, died Wednesday, April 5, 1961, at his home in Frenchtown after an illness of a year.

He was born in East Fairfield Township, September 10, 1872, a son of Anitole and Veronica Fairve LeComte.  He was a carpenter by trade and retired only a few years ago.  He spent most of his life in East Mead Township with 15 years at Frenchtown and was a member of St. Hippolyte's Roman Catholic Church there.

He was married first to Sadie Fuller, who died a number of years ago, and to the former Frances Ducray Richard, who died about a year ago.

He is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Marie Rickert of Frenchtown and Mrs. Dorothy Connor of Chicago; two sons, Murray A. LeComte of Meadville and Elmer A LeComte of Watsonville, CA; a stepson, Joseph O. Richard of Frenchtown; seven grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in St. Hippolyte Cemetery.
