Arthur D. Reynolds

Arthur D. Reynolds, 98, formerly of Blooming Valley, died at the National Health Enterprise Nursing Home at Lexington, KY on Tuesday, September 21, 1976, after a period of failing health.  Mr. Reynolds, who had lived in Lexington since 1970, was at the nursing home for three years.

He was born in Vernon Township on January 15, 1878, a son of Edward A. and Katherine Kellogg Reynolds.  He married Hilda Jones who died in 1957.  Mr. Reynolds was a retired farmer and attended Blooming Valley United Methodist Church.  He formerly was president of Blooming Valley School Board and formerly was active in Meadville Grange.

Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. William R. (Katherine) Martin of Lexington and three grandchildren, Dr. Katherine Anne Martin and Charles D. and Richard D. Martin, all of Lexington.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Greendale Cemetery.
